Members of relay teams will not be able to switch out of a relay team on their own. As the Event Director, you can cancel their registrations and issue a discount code that will allow them to sign up for a different event without you having to issue refunds.
To set this up, you have a couple of options:
Option 1: Cancel the participants and issue a discount code only to the participant who set up and paid for the relay team
The participant who registered the team and paid for the registration will receive an email with the discount code.
Option 2: Cancel each participant on the team and issue a discount or comp code for each participant
You will need to reach out to each cancelled team member and let them know what their discount code is.
Note that if there is a price difference between the discount code and the cost of the new event, the participant will be charged the difference between the discount code and the cost of the new registration. If the discount code is greater than the cost of the registration, they will not receive a refund.
